Our small company, founded in the summer of 2009 by owners Ben and Kim Dietrich who are the proud parents of 4 boys Brandon, Jacob, Dylan and Owen. Our second child, Jacob, suffered from a bad case of eczema as an infant. Turning to a naturopath for some relief, we were then forced to put him on a strict wheat-free diet. This is when Kim learned to make gluten-free options for Jacob which then turned into a thriving business of gluten-free mixes and bean blends.
Ben and Kim were also raised on farms with Kim's parents Warren and Bernadine Wolfe growing coloured beans for over 30 years. This is where Kim learned to love cooking with beans and all the benefits they can offer.
