Our Fresco Mushroom & Basil White Wine Sauce is a wonderful alternative to a cream sauce. Made with certified gluten free chickpea flour and infused with Niagara region Sauvignon Blanc white wine, this sauce is as tasty as can be. With basil from a family owned farm in Milton, ON and hearty pieces of Shiitake, cremini and oyster mushrooms from a local farm in Dundas, ON add just the right amount of texture to this versatile sauce. This sauce is best served warm, once opened it can be refrigerated for up to 5 days(you can also freeze the leftover sauce for another time) Quick and Easy Mushroom Risotto 1 jar of Fresco-Mushroom & Basil White Wine Sauce 3 cups of rice(we love the flavour of Jasmine Rice) 1 red bell pepper 1 package of Pea sprouts 1/2 cup shaved Parmigiano Reggiani cheese Cook rice as per instructions Pour jar of Fresco into a pot and heat on a low simmer Once rice is cooked, pour 1/4 cup into rice and gently mix together, platter the rice and pour remaining Fresco generously over rice. Julianne the red peppers into 2 inch strips and spread over rice and sprinkle the pea sprouts all over...finish off with parmesan cheese and viola, RISOTTO!

Finally, we thought, we've found an idea that we could share with the world! After extensive research, we knew no one out there was or is making the types of sauces La Dee Da makes. Our dedicated staff who have done tastings in many of our stores all agree that our products turn an everyday cook into an extraordinary chef with little effort (but don't worry, your secret is safe with us!)
