Our Savoury Mushroom Basil Sauce is a wonderful alternative to a cream sauce. Made with certified gluten free chickpea flour this sauce sceams basil and hearty pieces of Shiitake, cremini and oyster mushrooms from a local farm in Dundas, ON . This sauce is best served warm, once opened it can be refrigerated for up to 5 days(you can also freeze the leftover sauce for another time) Quick and Easy Mushroom Risotto 1 jar of Savoury Mushroom Basil Sauce and 3 cups of rice(we love the flavour of Jasmine Rice) 1 red bell pepper 1 package of Pea sprouts 1/2 cup shaved Parmigiano Reggiani cheese Cook rice as per instructions Pour jar of Fresco into a pot and heat on a low simmer Once rice is cooked, pour 1/4 cup into rice and gently mix together, platter the rice and pour remaining sauce generously over rice. Julianne the red peppers into 2 inch strips and spread over rice and sprinkle the pea sprouts all over...finish off with parmesan cheese and viola, RISOTTO!

After launching into many stores and listening to our customers, we realized that was something missing on the market...something for people who cannot tolerate Nightshade veggies!! And so, our Butternut Squash Beet Sauce has become our 4th sauce!

Finally, we thought, we've found an idea that we could share with the world! After extensive research, we knew no one out there was or is making the types of sauces La Dee Da makes. Our dedicated staff who have done tastings in many of our stores all agree that our products turn an everyday cook into an extraordinary chef with little effort (but don't worry, your secret is safe with us!)
