100% pure Canadian virgin soybean oil. Produced by a 4th generation Canadian farm family, our oils are pressed fresh daily with passion and pride. Why you'll love our Virgin Cold Pressed Soy Oil: The most unique tasting of all of our oils, the Pristine Gourmet Virgin Cold Pressed Soy Oil is slowly becoming a favourite of home cooks and chefs alike. Soybean oil is high in poly- and monounsaturated fats, low in saturated fats and trans fat-free. Even after extraction, soybean oil retains its natural antioxidants. The flavour, aroma and colour of our oils comes from the provenance of the seed we use to press our oils. Our virgin pressed oil is great in cooking, or in raw applications. Tip: For maximum benefit store at room temperature, away from heat in the refrigerator or a dry dark place. With it’s high smoke point, soybean oil is great for frying and stir-frying. Tahini 3 cups white sesame seeds ¾ cup Pristine Gourmet Virgin Cold Pressed Soy Oil (you can use any of the oils here, but we find the soy to be the most neutral in flavour) 1 tsp salt Toast the sesame seeds in a pan on medium high heat, watch that they don’t burn Allow to cool Add to a food processor and blend with the oil and salt until smooth Store in an airtight container

The core business focus today is the press mill and edamame production with other added gourmet products like wine vinegars, edible beans, pulses and soy flours.
