The very best Pure Manitoba honey from our own home yards. Primarily from clover blossoms, our house honey has slight accents of alfalfa, and wetland flowers giving it a unique taste and a superior bouquet.

The John Russell Honey Company started back in 1999 in Petersfield, Manitoba. With a culinary background and a desire to provide something different for his customers, John started blending only the finest ingredients into his creamed honey to flavor it.

No extracts, no artificial flavors, no food dyes, just pure fruit and spices. This dedication to quality and care soon built up a loyal following of clientele, and although the business has grown greatly in size, the core values remain the same:

Only the best Manitoba Honey is produced and used.
Only pure ingredients ever go into our honey.
Only hand packaging will ensure great quality.

As a family business, we truly enjoy bringing the best of what we do to your family's table.

Pure Manitoba Honey from primarily clover sources.

Vitamins and Minerals: Honey, particularly the raw, unheated and unpasteurized variety like ours, is rich in a number of essential vitamins. These include the B vitamins niacin, also called vitamin B3, riboflavin and pantothenic acid, which are important for many body functions including energy metabolism. Niacin is also important to cell repair, and riboflavin is also essential for tissue health. Pantothenic acid aids the metabolism of fats and cholesterol. Honey also contains trace amounts of calcium and magnesium. Antioxidants: Honey also contains chemical combinations called antioxidants that are important for their health-promoting and disease-fighting abilities. Honey contains phytochemicals, or plant chemicals, called polyphenols that have antioxidant properties to remove free radical toxins in the body. Free radicals are created through normal body processes and can contribute to cell damage, disease, inflammation and ageing. The antioxidant capacity of honey is currently under further study.
