We are a chef and baker who, in 2008, discovered a heritage wheat (Red Fife) grown nearby (Madoc, Ontario) that became the perfect muse for making crackers to be sold at Farmers Markets in Toronto. We named the crackers after our then 2 year old daughter Evelyn and the rest is history.
Heritage grain lovers from British Columbia to Quebec have enjoyed Evelyn's Crackers. There has been a demand for the crackers in the US and as of last October they have reached global recognition at the Slow Food Conference in Italy.
