Description

Each snack bundle includes,

Nitap Chocolate Bar // Peace by Chocolate. For nearly 30 years, the Hadhad family created and shipped specialty treats across the Middle East and Europe. Forced to leave Syria in 2012, they fled to Lebanon and eventually moved to the East Coast of Canada with the goal of rebuilding their chocolate company. Proceeds from this bar benefit nitap cultural programming within the community of the Paq’tnkek Mi’kmaw Nation, just east of Antigonish, Nova Scotia.

Gummy Candies // C'est BONBON. Fresh out of university, Sarah started the company with her boyfriend Paul. Four years later, their online sales have propelled them to more than 400 points of sale across Quebec. Each of these gummies helps rescue wildlife thanks to a partnership with 1% for the planet. Berry Seltzer // City Seltzer. City Seltzer makes delicious and flavourful non-alcoholic sparkling water. Each can is naturally calorie and sugar-free, perfect for any adventure. The facility is powered entirely with zero carbon renewable electricity through Bullfrog Power and 1% of all revenues is donated to Ottawa Riverkeeper in support of their mission to keep our watershed clean for all generations and all species.

Bean-to-Bar Chocolate // Soul Chocolate. Kyle and Kate Wilson put their heart and soul behind their line of bean-to-bar chocolates. When Kyle Wilson went travelling in Africa, he and his wife Katie were drawn to the cocoa fields. They both had a background in the coffee industries as baristas, but wanted to travel the world, and bring something special back with them to Canada. What they found was an opportunity for FairTrade cocoa, and ethically sourced, bean-to-bar chocolate in Toronto. (vg, gf)
